EightBells Fleet Time Manager / download

Download EightBells Fleet Time Manager

Windows. 24 hours free with every function, a free month for your feedback, then a licence key bound to your admin PC.

Windows

One installer for the demo and the full licence

Fill in your name and email in the form and we send you a personal link to the installer. The same installer runs the 24-hour demo and, with a key, the full licence.

Licence

24 hours free, a free month for feedback, then a key

  1. 24-hour demo. Install and start EightBells: the demo starts on first run, with every function. It can be confirmed online with Check demo online, which is optional.
  2. Free month. Tell us how it went on your ship, and we send you a one-month key in exchange for your feedback.
  3. Licence key. Open License (sidebar or the key in the top bar), copy the machine fingerprint and send it with Request license (email) or through the contact form. You receive a key starting with EB1: paste it and click Activate, or load the .lic file. FULL keys run until a date, PERMANENT keys have no end date. Ask for a quotation for one ship or a fleet.

The key is bound to the admin PC (machine GUID and SMBIOS UUID) and stays on that PC. Reinstalling Windows or replacing the motherboard changes the fingerprint; ask for a re-issue.

Clean software

No viruses, no ads, no hidden code

EightBells contains no viruses, no advertising, no trackers and no hidden code. It talks to the PCs of your domain and, if internet is available, to antennapilot.com to read a small version file and to confirm the demo. Computer names, scan results and logs stay on your admin PC.

Windows may warn about a file that does not come from the Store. Let Microsoft Defender scan it: that is exactly what the check is for. For a second opinion, upload the installer to VirusTotal before running it.

Installing

Four steps on the admin PC

  1. Open the link from the email and download the installer. Because the program is new and not yet widely downloaded, Windows may show Windows protected your PC. Click More info, then Run anyway.
  2. Install and start EightBells with a domain account that is a local administrator on the target PCs.
  3. Click Load from Active Directory, then Scan All (F5).
  4. Read the startup diagnostics in the log at the bottom: account, domain, RSAT module and the WinRM test. Anything missing is named there.

Domain

Prepare the domain once

  • RSAT Active Directory module on the admin PC: Add-WindowsCapability -Online -Name Rsat.ActiveDirectory.DS-LDS.Tools~~~~0.0.1.0
  • WinRM on the target PCs: a GPO that enables Windows Remote Management and the inbound rule for port 5985. For PCs shown as NO ACCESS, Enable WinRM on NO ACCESS PCs can start it through WMI.
  • Names, not addresses: PCs are reached by hostname or FQDN so that Kerberos authentication works.
  • Time source: point the domain controller to the ship’s GPS/NTP source; EightBells can set every other PC to follow it.

Updates

It tells you, it never installs by itself

The version is always shown in the top bar. Click it to check antennapilot.com: green means up to date, yellow means a newer version exists, with the notes and a download link. Without internet the check fails quietly and the app keeps working.

Support

Need help?

The built-in Help has a Troubleshooting chapter for the common cases: WinRM refused, PCs that look offline, uninstalls that need a vendor switch. Otherwise send a message or write to support@antennapilot.com with the log file from the logs folder.
